VF35
i think the digs on reverse are severe enough to details the coin but overall the eye appeal is great

I'm at VF-details (reverse damage). There is the slightest bit of porosity on the obverse of the coin as well, so I wouldn't be surprised if this coin fell victim to a details grade for that reason. Overall, the surface quality is quite attractive outside of a few spots.

VF35 A TPG might give it the benefit of the doubt and straight grade it due to the rarity.

Please tell us why you think it would not straight-grade.

For me, I think that the dings near the letter 'E' in UNITED would be severe enough to details the coin.

A few digs on the reverse on right and left sides an big hit on the lower cheek, some light green verdigris, still overall a really nice looking '94 cent. I'm at EAC 35/20 net VF25 I think a TPG might go VF30 to EF40 possibly straight grade despite the digs on the reverse.

I see this one just shy of 40. Pretty sure this would straight grade. Eye appeal is strong. Nice coin. Glad to see you submitting some coins for us to view again!

westcoin may be right. they may net the grade down and put it in a straight holder. didnt think of that

s-28 I think. R-2. like others I also think it would end up in a strait grade holder and that they would ding it a point or two for the reverse problems. TPG 40 net 30 or something similar. eac I think I would net it to a 20. 25 seems ok to me. the digs are a bit too extreme for me to go higher than that. the obverse is way too nice for a net 15 unless the whole reverse was a disaster. the reverse is pretty nice other than the digs. i like this coin. germanicvs - you keep showing us these great copper coins in varieties I dont own. thanks for that! I love it.
