I'd say AU-55 on the 1859, but obverse rim scrapes K2-K4 detract. I wouldn't consider the Rim Fin an issue. I'd say MS details (obverse wiped or cleaned) on the 1863.

I don't know much about Indian Heads but something just don't look right to me on the 1863. Looks too boldly struck and the 1 in the date is almost touching the neck. I looked at coinfacts and no dates looked that close. I have seen some nice looking indian heads made in China.

So I'm curious - on the 1863, all those scratches on the cheek and in the field to the left in obverse and the heavy scratches below "ONE" on reverse don't constitute aggressive cleaning? Looks like a nasty abrasive was used.

The 63 has been harshly cleaned/polished. Too bad, that was a nice coin they destroyed.
