Or any specialty vams that you can identify? PO-01 carry premiums, and for certain FR-02s somewhat a premium.

I think they are lovely. I have a big sack of those too, they are more interesting to me than this-or-that slabbed MS-sixty-something. Good stuff!

They appear to have just honest wear, with a good selection of dates, and not many have holes.

Thanks for the replies, I too love raw coins you can put your hands on! As far a VAM's, I've never searched for them, I know a lot of collectors do. PO1's, are these the low grade collector coins?

Occasionally, scarce counterstamped coins show up in lots like this. A few months ago, I offered a dealer $200 for a c/s'd Morgan, but he wouldn't take less than $300. Knowing what the c/s was, its attribution, exponentially increased the value.

Very cool! I would definitely go through and check the dates and mint marks to see if you have anything more valuable.

ExoGuy, I'm familiar with counter stamps, but not familiar with C.S.? Can you please fill me in?

I think C.S. is another way to say counter stamp... Here is an example of a lowball in my collection, an 1899-S...
