I am thinking about buying this raw. What are your thoughts on grade? Thank you in advance for your opinions.

overall looks pretty good, not sure what the lines across the obverse are or if that would give it a details grade. Picutre is slightly out of focus to see more details. But with what I can see and the rim dings maybe MS63, Really hard to tell though

Pictures are very blurry, so it is very hard to grade this one. Those lines on the obverse do look like cleaning lines in the photo. So I would call this a AU - Details Cleaned, until we get better pictures.

since you dont have this coin and are considering it, its hard enough to grade a coin from photos but when they are out of focus and the reverse photo is too small, I would not risk buying this coin. you have no idea what the surface look like or if the skin is completely original.

I would agree, poor photos & honestly at first glance I was thinking counterfeit so I definitely wouldnt risk buying this particular coin.
I've been collecting for a couple years... Favorite Coin's are Standing Liberty quarters, Working on my type set | Coffee, Corvettes, Coins & the CCF what could be better?

Thank you for the replies. Seller has 30 day money back. May pull the trigger at $1100 and then take it to ICG and get their opinion. Definitely hard to make grade determination with photos and not seeing it in person.

I lean towards AU details, cleaned, but impossible to know for sure with these blurry pics. If he's selling for $1100, it's almost certain not to be a problem-free MS coin.

If they are selling for $1100, then the coin most certainly has issues.

Thought it was fake at first glance. what kind of TPG holder is it in?

Those who suspected fake are probably right. The date position doesn't match any known VAM for an 1893-O.

I am glad I did not get chance to purchase. Someone else beat me to it. Thank you all. You all really know your coins!
