I found a 2000 Lincoln Cent that is missing the date, unless you tilt it at a certain angle. Then you can see 2000 however it isn't raised up off the face of the coin

@xian, first welcome to CCF. Second, looks like this cent was Struck Through Grease which prevented the date from striking up clearly. That is a fun find.

Posted pics show a lot of glare--difficult to determine what may be happening. At this point, I'd suspect a Grease Filled Die. Coin could be worth anywhere from 1 to 10 cents. There are a few collectors who love to acquire fun examples with greased die issues.

looks like the date is there with the right angle of lighting - I see 2000 for a date. Possibly a nice Grease Filled Die, a nice find too.

It's a 2000-D cent. (Image 3 shows me this) As mentioned possible Grease Fill die issue:

Only valuable when 80% or more is missing because of the grease blockage. Modest premium when they get to this extreme. Yours is just a spender. (weight will be normal. 2.5 grams)
