Welcome , first that's not a 2021 dime. Please post pics of both sides of coin in question and pls explain why you think that is an American planchette.

Full pics of both sides, please, and give us some clue as to why you think this is an American planchet. So far, you're wasting our time.

An "American planchet" for a dime is copper-cored. You can see the copper on the rim. Please show the rim, if you wish anyone to believe this is what you have. If that second pic is supposed to be showing the rim, it's not doing a very good job at it.

An American planchet also won't stick to a magnet, while a normal Canadian dime will stick, since it's made of nickel-plated steel.

Finally, it's virtually impossible for such an error to happen. Canada is fully self-sufficient at making its own coins, at mints in Canada; they haven't asked the Americans for help since the 1960s. And Canada has never produced American coins. The blanks in both countries are produced in-house and aren't imported from a third country, so there is zero chance of some kind of accidental mix-up where one country's blank ends up being struck by the other country's mint.

Is the coin attracted to a magnet?

It would help if you would clearly state why you think this is a US planchet. The only way I can see this happening is if a mint employee tossed a US dime into the hopper for fun. In that case, you should see evidence that it was overstruck, and the edge would show clad composition as others have stated.

I am guessing that some plating is missing and the member can see a smidgen of copper somewhere on the coin.
