I know it is an error, but I'm not sure how to describe it. Any help is appreciated. Edited by TippyCanoe 08/27/2024 08:11 am

Interesting. An end-on photo of the rim (above Abe's head) might be good to see.

Very interesting. At first I thought it might be a mounting issue.

My first thought was a coin removed from a stamped mounting as well. Is it out of round? Also does the edge have a concave look? Thanks, Doug.

Someone asked for a rim shot. Also it doesn't appear to me to be out of round.

If the diameter is no greater than 19.05mm all around, I'll agree its an impressive MAD strike. Thanks, Doug.
