Are you both sure it is not spam or a troller? No good things will come from that if it is.Is there a way to be positive it is a genuine email? John1

I received same email. Message headers (view message source) show same "received from" IP Address as all other email product notifications from U.S. Mint such as the last one I received on 9/12/24: "Available Today: Morgan & Peace Silver Dollar 2024 Proof Coins"... So, It appears to be legit.

It seems that the mint did the same thing last year or so. All of the "sale items" were unpopular issues that could be obtained elsewhere online for lesser prices. I remember 5 ounce ATB coins in particular.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

I got the same email. It is legit.
I believe it is a bonus offer only to that that have already purchased from the Mint this year, so not really a slap in the face. If you had not already purchased, you should have not have received the offer.
Of course, the Mint does send out emails by mistake.
I will definitely take a look at what they have available in that window.

Hard to track down what is actually on sale, but agree it is mostly older, unpopular products.

They did this last year also - lots of the bronze medals went on sale then. Will probably be more of the same - stuff they cannot unload normally... (I'll check it out anyway..)

Always good to be aware of phishing attacks.
Those scams snare millions (billions?) of dollar every year.
Appears this is a legit email from the mint. Well done to the CCF folks to distinguish that fact.

Received it as well. I guess we'll see what is on sale come 9/19. If I had to guess some Mighty Minters ornaments or something.

I received this same email yesterday along with a mailer just today.
Wonder if it has any connection to the canceled subscriptions I did this year?
Any of you guys/gals cancel subscriptions this year?
