I'll wait till it's at bullion prices. Already down $20, only $25 more to go.

I got my invite as well and purchased one. MS70 with the Game logo on front and back, shipped for $80. I will be interested to see this. Its an interesting concept but I don't want the mint to start doing random bullion/proof/burnished privy marks. Its a slippery slope especially when you consider the number of privy marks on Canadian Maples.

Wish they used the number 8 instead of the star to be more in line with the game logo. Its fairly easy to get the invite for the bullion coin. You have to get to level 7 in the game which took me 2 days of completing daily quests. Once I get it, I will delete the game.

I sent a note to Pinehurst Coins re: "raw" example availability; response is quoted below:

Quote:
Thank you so much for reaching out, and we truly appreciate your recent purchase. . . At this time, we do not have the raw 2024 (P) $1 ASE with Star Privy Mark available, and we don't have an estimated timeline for when it might be listed.

I don't think any of the dealers will be in a hurry to list the raw ones; they'll try to unload as many of the slabbed MS69 / 70 inventory as possible first. The Mint bargained away (abdicated) the ability to sell the these bullion coins so collectors are at the mercy of "the Mint's network of Authorized Purchasers of bullion coins and the secondary market."

Does that mean that there will be 0 Star privy available for raw? I understand that they will be 69-70 but you can't have all 500,000 being 69 and above. What will happen if it grades a 68 or below...

Do you think the entire mintage -- 500,000 -- will make it into slabs ? I don't.

There are plenty of collectors that don't believe in slabbing. So, yeah. Many won't make it into plastic tombs. If I get one, it won't be slabbed.

I won't do anything immediately, but if I want a raw one bad enough, I'll crack open a MS69. They probably all deserve being in a capsule, but I like handling the capsule way more than a slab.

Thanks cptbilly & Morgans Dad! I like the slide out presentation box that they made for it, a little different than what you normally see.

I am seeing some of these ASE unslabbed for sale about 48 at provident metals.

I got my MS70 (bought from playing the game shipped for $80). Totally worth playing to be able to get this one. On ebay MS70s with the label are 250+
and MS69 (with the label) is almost sold out on ebay.

While looking up graded numbers by NGC I also noticed that they have graded 2 2025 ASE as MS70... Guess they are getting a head start.

Still waiting for NGC to put up numbers for the star privy
