I am finally finishing my Barber dime set and just wondering what other sets people enjoy collecting, without breaking the bank, since I need something new to collect? I was thinking Buffalo nickles?

I am working on a Mercury dime set which is reasonably priced other than the 1916-D of course. This would also be somewhat of a natural progression for you I think.

damcon3 Congrats on completion of the Barber dime set. I have a complete set of unc and all proof Jefferson's and a UNC set of Franklin's. Peace dollars would be an interesting series and a worthwhile investment I think. My Jefferson collection is never complete though because I save all the nicest ones I can find. Maybe you need to work on a Type set?

Congrats on finishing off your Barber dimes. I know it's a great feeling to finish off a set. My completed sets include Indian Head cents in xf, 2 cent pieces in xf, 3 cent pieces in xf, Liberty nickels in xf, Liberty Head Dimes in xf, 20 cent pieces in xf, Franklin half dollars in unc, Peace dollars in au, Eisenhower dollars in unc, and SBA Dollars in unc. My Jefferson nickels, Roosevelt dimes, Washington quarters, Kennedy halves, Sac Dollars, and Pres Dollars are completed in unc, through 2008.

I would start on a Franklin half collection. They're fun, large and relatively easy to collect.

I've only completed a BU Franklin set. You can out together a great set without breaking the bank. I love the Buffalo series want to work on a Buffalo set soon but that's a expensive series. Mercury dimes are an inexpensive set too apart from the 16D.
