Quote: I am down to 2 Morgan holes and 8 Peace holes. I want to complete this set, but I am also down to 2 holes on my 7070 type set and 2 holes on my Lincoln 8100. I could be mean and say you have three holes in the 8100, because I know what you did there! However, I will not since the only reason I would is because I am jealous of your 1909-S VDB. Quote: ... but this dollar date set album is becoming one of my favorites ... I really like seeing this thread getting bumped up because I really like this album as well. I was thinking about ordering one, but I will see what fate has for me. If I find one at the next coin show, she will be coming home with me. Hopefully with some tenants!

Hmm.. This sounds like a very interesting album! I might have to start one myself, someday.. (Of course, my goal is to have a complete US, Canadian, and British collection by date and mintmark I suppose it doesn't hurt to dream big lol)

The Dansco Album Store http://www.danscoalbumstore.com/ has the Morgan dollar date Set at $16.77 and shipping is reasonable, $6.95. I am assembling the date set and plugged five holes at the ANA National Money Show. The photos aren't the best.

Thank you for the compliment Goldrush. I'm trying to get an evenly matched MS-63 set but it already has a couple of MS-64's. The 1884 hole is filled with an MS-64 (NGC) CC that I got from a coin wholesaler I know for just $225.00 and the 1900-O is also an MS-64 (PCGS). The second page will have more exceptions, an MS-60 1893 and 1894-S with an EF 1895-O. I'll be getting most of the rest of the set through that wholesaler and will be saving a LOT of money by paying dealer wholesale prices. If you or anyone has a hole to fill and wants to fill it at a very reasonable price contact me and I'll see what I can do. Finished the Morgan section of this album. Will start looking for those last six Peace dollars next week. That 1893 hole was a hard one, but picked up the 1893 ( no mint mark) today. Here are some update pics

I really like that set (never seen one before). It will make collecting the Morgans/Peace more reasonable. GoldRush-what coin shops are in Pensacola? I dont live to far away (SE Alabama). I currently use a shop in Birmingham, my local shop is very limited.

Quote: GoldRush-what coin shops are in Pensacola? jprine- We have several in the area. The one I shop at most is Emerald coast coins, they have two locations one in Pensacola and the other in Milton. Another one I like is in Gulf Breeze a suburb of Pensacola, the name is something like Sports card, coins and racing collectibles. There is also All American coins, Pace coins and Hinote coins. I know of two others in Pensacola, they don't seem to have many coins that I look for. All seven of these coins shops are within 20 miles of each other. There are a couple more if I want to drive out a little further. We also have a few coin shows each year, one that I like is coming up in June.

I like the idea of this set, I think I might sometime down the road do this set when I finish my 7070 and my Commemorative dollar set.
