Poll Question
Lately I've been busy filling my LMC folder and I've got one left to fill so I got a LWC folder. Currently I'm working on Lincoln Cents (1909-2008), Jefferson nickels (1938-2004), Roosevelt dimes (1965-Date), and the Dansco 7070 US Type set. So thats 4 for me.

Working on Half Cent, Large Cent, Half Dime, Bust Dime, Seated Liberty dime, Barber dime, Bust Quarter, Barber quarter, Standin Liberty Quarter, Early Half, Seated Lib Half, Barber Half, Early Dollars, and Seated Liberty dollars. Seated Liberty quarter, and Shield nickel I only need 1 to complete each set. Upgrading Walking Lib Halves, and Buffalo nickels. Lincolns, Jeffersons., Roosevelt, Washington, Kennedy, Sac, and Pres are all up to date in UNC.

I'm only working on Jefferson nickels (1938-1961). I'm been working on it non-aggressively for maybe 8 years, strictly from circulation (no CRH). It's my favorite because it's really the last set left that has older coins and is obtainable from circulation. I found the 1939D in my change from Walgreens.

I'm working two sets right now. My Ike dollar set is about 4 or 5 coins short, and my bullion silver eagle set.....well.....I have a ways to go on that one.

I'm currently working on a '34-'45 gem Mercury dime short set, highish grade 20th century type set, Jefferson nickel set from circulation, Sacagawea dollar set and a super-cheap Buffalo nickel set. I'm also working on Lincoln Cent and Kennedy half books as a side effect of my roll searching. I'll probably get silver proof sets from 1999-present so I can cover the several things I'd like to have proofs of (Sacagaweas, Westward Journey nickels, 2009 cents and I guess State and ATB Quarters because why not). Things I'd like to collect in the future would be a 7070 (maybe I'll try for a all-holed set), Peace dollars, walking liberties, 3 cent silvers and a complete Mercury set.

Other than adding the 2012 coins to my circulated/"business strike" albums, I am only working on 1 set. I am trying to work on a Peace dollar Date set.

I am trying to complete the sets I have started, and not start anymore. Most active sets I am trying to complete 1983 to current Modern Unc Commemorative dollars 1932 - 1998 Washington quarters (w/proofs) 1946 to current Roosevelt dimes (w/proofs) Sets that I am waiting for good coins at good price Mercury dime, just need 1916 D and 1921 D Lincoln Cents 1909 - current (w/proofs) just need 1922 no D Indian Head cent about 3/4 complete Buffalo nickel about 2/3 complete Sets that are complete but have to add new coins each year Sacagawea dollars (w/proofs) Presidential dollars P&D Kennedy half dollar P&D America the Beautiful Quarters (P,D,S and S) Jefferson nickels UNC and Proof I am finding it hard to focus on the sets. My current strategy is to buy good coins, if I can get them at a good price. I think a good coin is one that has a good collector base. And a good price is one where you can sell it for a profit or at least what you paid for it ... if you had to sell it. A example of a good coin with a low collector base. My local shop had 4 1893 Isabella quarters. I think I could get one at a good price, but not at a price where I could make a profit .. if I needed to sell it. It is a cool coin, but not sure where it would fit into my collection. Coins I bought this week are 1997 Law Enforcement Commemorative UNC Dollar 1862 3 cent silver VF/XF 1836 Bust Half Dollar LE VF 1936 D Washington quarter AU Two of these coins fill holes in sets, one is upgrade to my type set and one was just a good buy.

Just finished filling all the holes in my Walker album and all-but-one-I'm-not-counting in my Buffs album. Will probably upgrade a few in each so still not considered done-done yet. Put way more time and $ in than expected but I love both! Working on IHC run, not an album, and may start a Peace dollar album here soon.

Quote: there should be a 10 or more vote :/ Probably should have been a poll for 1 to 4, 5 to 10, 11 to 15, 16 to 20 and up to 100 for some of us. And would have to have made it clear not to include duplicate sets. By that I mean as an example I'm presently working on improving 12 Mercury dime sets, 10 Lincolns, etc., etc., etc.
