The 5 oz'ers are called pucks, what do we call the 10 pounders, coffee tables? :) I am just guessing but I bet the mintage would be the lowest ever for an ASE.....and you thought the 1995 - W was expensive...haha

Yeah, that would be cool, but I think I could find a lot of better things to do with my $10,000.

I would bet if the mint made say 500 ten pounders...they would sell out and just FYI...a ten pounder at current spot with typical premiums other large weight coins bring would be something around $6000

Actually there are 12 troy ounces in a troy pound, so at $34.01 per troy ounce of silver, it comes out to be 4081.20, for melt value. They would add on a fee for minting the coin though.

Would someone tell me how much the wood display case for this 75th SF Anniversary set weighs? I remember the 25th Anniversary ASE set was pretty heavy even without the coins!

Got mine today. I think I ordered around lunch. I know it was the last day. any errors or variety's with these yet?
