Poll Question
Queen Elizabeth II will celebrate her Diamond Jubilee during 2012 (Queen for 60 years 1952-2012). Do you have a Queen Elizabeth coin (REGARDLESS OF COUNTRY)?

Absolutely! That is my main deal. I have her images on coins from 39 countries, plus 9 more countries with other members of the British Royal family (but not all necessarily reigning monarchs).

I don't have "a" Queen E. coin, I have hundreds of 'em. I love the effigy of the original 1953 design and don't care much for the modern day design. Glenn

At a minimum, most Americans will have a few Canadian coins in their change jar. I'm in Florida so I also get Bermuda semi-regularly. I actually got my first Canadian silver dime last night while roll hunting, though I guess that was a George.

Not sure if I do have any. Who is she? Is she from a nearby country?

Yes. Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and United Kingdom for sure. There may be some others in my dark side albums. I need to review them more often.

All Australian coins in circulation have her effigy. I have thousands of decimal and hundreds of predecimals, all with her face. I like Raphael Maklouf's design the most. It was used from 1985--1998 on Aussie coins.

Not sure if I do have any. Who is she? Is she from a nearby country? She is queen of some island (a big island) north of Europe.

Canada & quite a few foreign countries - but my darkside pile is hiding in a place not accessible to me at present so I cannot make a list. I know I have s few U.K., Oz, Bahamas, Bermuda, and New Zealand for sure. And... I lived close enough to Canada I do not consider it "foreign" - so I mention them separately

Safe bet that the U.K. and dependent countries and Australia will celebrate the Diamond Jamboree on their coinage.
What are the possibilities that other countries that currently have an image of H.M. the Q. on their coinage, will do as well?
(Don't worry about the 'Jamboree', that is a quote from a book by Sellars & Yeatman: "1066 and All That" - a fractured account of British history).

Being British, I do of course have many, including some Canadian coins.

If she can make five more years she will become the longest reigning monarch in British history beating Victoria. This year she ties George III for second longest.
