So I traded a toner Full Step 1948d jefferson for this. I only had $30 in the Jefferson, so I know I did good on this trade. Guess what PCI called it, and what you think it should be. I haven't looked at VAMs yet, but I am pretty sure it is one of the 90% of VAMs that adds no value. Thanks for looking and any input you make.

I'm going to say PCI called it MS62 I say it looks like MS63+ Looks like the 1 in the date is doubled so maybe VAM-8 or VAM-8A?

Nice fields, especially the reverse. I have no idea about PCI, but I'd say MS64.

I don't like comparing to pci slabs but I'm going to say it grades ms62+ due not so much to the amount of blemishes but their locations on the obverse. The reverse is so nice though that if those marks under the wings don't show well in hand a net grade of 63 would surprise me

Small mark beside the lips, and on the neck. Other than that, very clean. MS-64.

Not sure what PCI had to say but I call it MS63+ possibly MS64. The cheek is a bit dark in the photo making it difficult to accurately grade it. As far as the VAM number, from this distance I can tell it's a C3 reverse, normal slanted date position which puts it into the 90 percentile.

with Dave700x right call at MS64 by PCI but probably as a MS63+ in a current top tier TPG today.

Just looked at the website, and I understand what you mean. Here is a quote from the homepage: "PCI is your premiere coin grading service for authenticating and grading your rare coin assets." They also had 4 identical images of the exact same coin, 2012 ASE MS-70.

Quote: What is PCI? This site: http://www.sampleslabs.com/ might help, there are a lot of different slabbing companies, many that are now long gone, most are not that reputable. PCGS, NGC, ANACS, SEGS, ICG, PCI are the ones that usually get listed in the good to okay category. The rest not so much.
