Coin Rings - I put this in this forum due to the Canadian items being transformed. They're pretty neat, but I have to admit the photo of the NL half makes me cringe a little.

I really like these. I have one made from a George VI 50 cent piece. It makes for a very nice ring, due to so much of the reverse design being around the rim.

I have 2 on my fingers now, one out of a 68 50 cent piece and the other from an unknown large cent.

I have all the tools on how to do this... just haven't gotten around to doing one yet...

I think if I end up learning how to do a really good job I may make one as my wedding ring...

NOOOOoooo - only 150,000 1900 NL halves made and it has to become a ring?
The rings are great...but what was this guy thinking?! Or was he?

Even worse, here is an ebayer making a business of using NL halves

...sorta' like smashing a stained glass window to obtained colored glass to make beads from.

Cool ring Bobby!

I really hate this but some common dates can be cool. Or State Quarters of the state you were born in.

There's a guy here in the Vancouver area who makes these and sells them on Craigslist. Pretty cool

That coin compass is so cool....

I sort of have a love/hate relationship with jewelry made out of coins. I feel bad about the coins but then ....the jewelry is so cool....
