The Mint will come up with something else to put on the Dollar so that they can make more coins for the next 15 years! How about Vise Presidents for each term! Just tossing it out there.

NNNNNOOOOO!!! One dollar coin per year please! The States Quarters were fine but it is getting ridiculous now. I don't mind so much if they have a different design each year but these multiple designs for each year is getting crazy, especially for coins that no one uses. If you aren't going to make it for circulation it should not be in the Mint or Proof sets as well.

I want them to quit making cents for circulation, but would like them to keep them as NIFC (in 95% copper, of course) for the mint and proof sets. Think of those who bought albums.

In theory a true mint set would only include coins that banks purchase from the mint at face value. However, I don't mind them including coins such as the Sacagawea dollar and Kennedy half, both of which, in theory, could circulate again. If they're going to do things like the Presidential dollars, then including them too is a better alternative than getting them from rolls. Speaking of that, they absolutely should include the San Francisco mint State Quarters which can currently only be purchased in rolls. They're as legitimate as the Sacagawea dollar, Presidential dollars and Kennedy half.

I ordered my 5 sets today (2 for me & 1 for each of my children). When you consider the quality and approximately 2.27 over face markup, it's a fair price versus what you'd have to pay elsewhere. I'm looking to cutting up one of my sets and putting them in capsules.

If they get to be only worth $0.16 over face, just on principal I'll buy as many as I can, cut them up, and spend them.
