Hey all,

Picked this up for XF money. Thoughts on grade and worth slabbing? Thanks!

The obverse of this coin has sweet eye appeal , Reverse has just a couple of minute issues that most won't even mention . MS-63 BN .

I've seen a lot of 1913 s specimens over the past few weeks as I'm looking to improve mine. Of the MS conts that I've surveyed, this is one of the better strikes. LIBERTY is all there. As T-BOP pointed out, the obverse has sweet eye appeal & what looks like scuffing is due to the "woody" planchet. Although it is a little weak on the reverse, this seems ubiquitous for this coin in the top third lettering - even at MS64.

Very nice! MS64+BN (or better on the right day). Compare it to:

I was slightly disappointed. I had a bit higher hopes for this one. I guess it just didn't have the luster..
