I'm terrible with these, but this one looks off to me. Something to do with the neck, soft hair and soft feather details. Not to mention the 7's which seem to stand out in the date.

Also looks off. Also most if not all examples have a weakness to the N in one cent. This one doesn't have that. Also looks cleaned, also it is from great southern coins who have a shady reputation. Stay away

Collar above the 1 is sharp - thought it should be rounded.

Looks fake to me. Relief is too deep for a coin this "worn". Bold "N"? I've never seen that. Plus, just looks funky. Great Southern Coins should be ashamed.

As far as I know only proofs and counterfeits have bold N's.

Definite counterfeit. Correct, the proof of this date only comes with a bold N.

Counterfeit. The date is too high. Looks like a real IHC with a date that has a Bold N and they removed the date and added the 1877. You can see a bunch of filing marks.

Any chance it is an impaired proof?

If it's an impaired proof it's very impaired.

This one HAS to be certified. WAY too many fakes floating around of this coin to buy one with zero documentation.
The Date position and strong N are concerning.

The obverse appears to have casting flaws, such as around the O in OF on the obverse, and the raised area between N and T in CENT on the reverse; it has the mushy, weak look of most fakes. I would say with a decent degree of certainty that this is a cast counterfeit.
GSC has sold forgeries/counterfeit coins in the past (presumably not on purpose, given their volume) but the two examples I know of, in both cases, the buyers were fully refunded without much of a hassle other than a phone call.
