There are very few marks or dings on this coin and it has a nice chocolate brown patina, an attractive coin in hand.
Opinions or help with the grade please?

Cheers, Bill

Isn't this one of the prettiest Canadian Tokens? My guestimate would be around XF45-AU50

I don't know how to grade those, but I would guess AU.

It really is a beautiful token, and has some die cracks Obverse and Reverse.

Nice one Bill!

Wear on the high points of the design, which results in AU55.

Those high points have spent decades in re patination, but they are a bit lighter than the surrounding areas.
A lot of the minor nicks and scratches in the fields are are quite well hidden under the patina, to the extent that it is easy to ignore them. That's a good thing.

Pleasing example.

AU 50 for me as the light high obverse spots show the very start of wear...

...whereas the reverse rim has done a fine job of protecting the leaves better than the obverse rim..

A much busier reverse design usually shows less contact..

Nice one Bill..

I see a bit of rub on the Queens hair so, AU-50.

Also, it's a Nova Scotia coin so you can drop off to me any time..
