I have a set of Mercury dimes of all FSB, full Steel bands. This is my #1 set of 12 and it was almost complete for years. Today at a coin show a dealer said he found one for me. I go to lots of coin shows and talk to almost all dealers and always ask if they could find me an 18S Mercury dime with FSB since it is the only one needed to complete the set.
Today a dealer had one for me and I bought it. Not the highest grade I'd prefer but it is FSB. I'll keep looking for a higher grade one but for now, this set is complete. All coins in the Album are now FSB.

Good god Carl. That's a high tier set. That must have cost a fortune!

True the top set of bands are a bit mushy but it would take literally thousands of dollars to get a one in a much higher grade but I am looking. Sure would be nice if all were about MS-67 or higher. Now got to continue with sets #2 to also make FSB. Wonder what I'll ever do with the piles and rolls of all the extras of the Mercs.
