Not a super nice coin, but one of the larger struck through reverses I've seen for a while. This bag has been kicking out some good 1940's coins with a decent lamination and a VF/XF 1941 FS-101 already this evening. Weight is 3.09g. 1945 Lincoln Wheat cent mint error - where's my chewing gum? Edited by tropicalbats 11/12/2022 11:57 pm

Yes very nice and thx for including the weight—you anticipated my question!

Nice struck through, reminds me of "The Blob" slowly devouring all.

Thanks all! That struck through was one of a bunch of things to come out of one bag last night. Another highlight was a nice 1930-D/D RPM-002, FS-502, a variety I rarely see. Sometimes it's all just flipping coins, other times it's getting interrupted all the time by having to attribute and card all the finds. I'll take that second option any day.

Yes amazing, and it's been wandering around for 77 years.

Slightly under, but probably a thin lamination peel issue on the coin.

Coop, 0.02g from the perfect weight of a new 3.11g planchet is not "slightly under". Not even remotely close to slightly under. It is probably closer to 3.11g than 95% of all planchets produced that year as they vary a lot more than that on the norm. And lamination? I don't see it and clearly it's the struck through that's the thing here so not sure why you would be talking about lamination. You keep losing me with your replies.
