Now that I know a bit of epoxy or solder makes a nickel worth $40, I'll be rich!

Adding a pic of the obverse " Cud" on this 1957 Nickel for posterity.

Even I know that's a "didn't come from the Mint like that". Some joker added a gob of god knows what. I can only say it'd be "huge if true" but obviously fake and still huge.

Thank you Spence. This way everyone can see the coin without adding a visit to this bogus seller.

If it were a Cud the reverse would show weakness on the strike opposite of that area on the reverse side. If there is no weakness on the reverse, then it is solder added to the obverse side of the coin.

For me do make sense. I am honest , I put on sell, 100's of view not buy. But those fake announcement yes. Ex: Peace least 45 and up 25$, Morgan's 22$. No one and scrap pseudo errors go as the sky. What word it is now?

I am so glad (and proud but won't acknowledge that - lol) that I joined this community/forum. I've just been here for a few weeks and I have already learned a lot! I hope y'all don't get tired answering my rookie questions and validating my finds, of which 95% is wrong. Thank you all!

@glim. No they will not get tired of questions. I've been here for awhile and they've put up with me Lol. Some might've rolled their eyes and shook their heads at some of my questions. (And I don't blame them)

Hey what are you all laughing at,I bought that coin. I wanted to bring it here and show you what I bought. Well it looks like Machine Doubling to me. Isn't that when it doubles from one side to the other?
