I've been updating Mercury dimes as I can find them. As its been a few weeks without any additions, time to post some new pictures.

Mercury dimes are the most cost effective way of building a purely 90% silver date / mm set, and retaining the same level of interest as building a set of 90% silver dollars.

Very Nice Set. I almost bought a similar one several years ago on the Bay. Not as nice as yours though hfjacinto. Congrats. How long did it take you to build this?

The set has been ongoing for about 47 years

But when I got serious it took about 3 years to find the set I had now. The 16-D took a few months to find as they are expensive and I wanted to make sure it was real. My budget also meant I was getting a pretty circulated one so I wanted one that wasn't crusty.

But the set isn't done, I keep looking out for coins and if I can find one that is an upgrade I will add it.

Very nice! I'd have to rate this design as my second favorite of the early 20th century, behind the Liberty Walking Half.
