Yup, I started with Whitman folders too. way back in my childhood (late 60's - early 70's) I have since relocated 'most' of them to my Dansco collection, still have some to relocate at some point.
BUT, I still have every one of them old Whitman folders, with no intention of tossing them out. They, by themselves are part of my collection, commemorating my start into coin collecting.

I do like the 2x2's and 20 pocket binder pages. These work well...

I still have all mine. Mostly empty, but I still have them.

This thread makes me want to start a Whitman US Type 20th and 21st Century Album. I really like the way the coins show in the blue pages.

I have done the Whitman type set and its reasonable to do with only the Liberty/Barber coinage being costly. The latest album has 2 more quarters (womens and washington crossing the delaware)

That looks amazing. I think this is the route that I am going to go also.

The Whitman 20th/21st century type set album is definitely a bit more budget friendly IMO.

That is a super-looking type set you have there, hfjacinto
I'm also working on a type set, but with a different twist from your album set...
My set (not completed as of yet) is a first-year-of-issue type set sitting inside MS condition slabs...

Indeed. For the longest time I wish Dansco offered that as an option, but I am glad they did not. I did enjoy spending nearly thirty years filling the 7070.

If I thought there was a customizable way to do it via Dansco, I would. However, there doesn't seem to be.

Dansco does make some albums for "general US coins," with dedicated pages for cents, nickels, dimes, quarters and half dollars.

However, whether they include other denominations or not I'm not entirely sure. That said, it would also be quite challenging trying considering it's a page long type of thing, as opposed to several coins of each type.

russell1256, It sure looks like you are way ahead of the game with a wonderful collection!
As for me, that is sure a long list that I'm not expecting to complete...
Unlike your set, I'm choosing more common and cheaper coins for my type set..

Oh, I'm so sorry, I thought your post was directed at me..
I was mentioning that I only want my type set to be graded, and right after that, you posted your list with graded coins that you have graded type set...
