Well, when I got up this morning I found I had an e-mail from the US Mint saying that they were already processing my enrollment (they used to call them subscriptions) order for the silver proofs.
I called them about an hour ago (11:00am EST) to try and get another item added to the Silver Proof set (to save postage) but they said they couldn't do that, so I had to pay $56.90 for another March of Dimes Proof dollar (single coin, not the set). My wife's daughter just had her first child and she thought it would be a special present for the baby.
Anyway, next year I'm going to pull all my items off of the enrollment plan to get what I want cheaper.

I don't do enrollments anymore either. I try to combine my purchases to save on the shipping. That is what I am going to do with this set. I'm going to wait until the Truman C&C set comes out, if I am able to get one.

Agreed. I tried the same thing. I think this is my last subscription. least they could do is make the shipping free.

I shut down all my subscriptions/enrollments after they did away with the discount. Would be nice if they did another free shipping promotion for a month or 3... just to keep their customer base mollified and coming back happily.
I think I'll wait a bit to get the silver set...don't think it's going anywhere for a few months at least and I have some other bills to pay!

@ atticguy: You don't have to keep your subscription/enrollment. Even with this set, you can just ask them to cancel it and then log online to order all the coins you want/need to save on the shipping.
When we buy 10 times from the mint, that's $50 more in shipping.

I got an email saying my set will be coming also. All I really want it for is the half.

Yes, the main reason I initially got into the 'subscriptions' was because of the discount, which though not a big savings it was helpful. When this year kicked in, they got rid of the discounts and also raised costs. Also, I can't understand why they couldn't mail both of today's orders together; so today postage was $9.90.
The only thing that worries me about closing my Mint account is that the next time I wait to combine orders is when they shorten (and run out) of a specific mintage; like what happened in 2012.

You do not have to close your account, just cancel the subscriptions.

I received my seven sets today. Two sets were flawless, two sets had very minor flaws and the other three sets had problems with the Presidential dollars. So, three sets are going back. There results are about what I expected given their quality track record lately. I guess I'll just have to play this game of buying and sending back the sets that have problems.

Got my set yesterday and when I inspected them I found a scratch on the reverse of the nickel. I can only wonder how it happened. Back to the mint it goes.

Got my set in today and it looks beautiful. I subscribe primarily so I don't forget to buy one every year, since this is an annual gift to my son starting with the year he was born (2005).
I love the "Mohawk Ironworker" design on the reverse of the Sacagawea (sorry, "Native American") dollar coin. I had no idea they were changing it this year.
