I don't own this and likely won't purchase due to the price, but I thought it was interesting. What do you think PCGS graded it?

I'll say VF 35, it looks great and the wear seems pretty even

I'm guessing the center-obverse weakness is normal for this issue. PCGS VF-35 at least, XF-40 possible.

It looks like an S-84, which doesn't usually have central weakness on the obverse. The obverse looks remarkably sharp other than the hair weakness, so I'll say XF-45, maybe even AU-50.

It's indeed a great looking coin. Way outside my knowledge level, but I'm guessing VF35.

Assuming weak obverse strike, reverse :- Although most of the shape of the relief detail on the leaves is there, the design detail on the high points the leaves has worn flat. VF-20. (As a comparison, nearly Fine British grading)
As an aside, the coin has rather heavy but attractive chocolate patination. This sort of heavy patina can well protect the metal underneath in most cases.

EAC guys would likely call it a Fine. :) I'd guess VF+.

I'll throw out a guess at VF30, just to be different.

i love this coin. the weak strike doesn't bother me as the overall coin has strong details. the full rounded cheek, lettering and date are sharp and prominent. the cheek and neck areas are exhibiting little if no wear. the obverse appears to have a slight red undertone to it which raises the eye appeal. the reverse is a little blotchy. the reverse may hold this one to XF40 but I'm in at XF45

We are all over the board on this one. I'm gonna come in at AU-53. I was gonna go higher until I saw all of the VF grades. I think I saw traces of luster up next to some of the devices. Unless this is from a cleaning and re-tone, I think it straight grades. What worries me is the spotting on the reverse may have tempted someone into a cleaning. I really like this coin and would be a proud owner if it was mine!

I am at 30/35. My guess is that PCGS gave it a 45.

These are not my forte but I will stick my neck out and say I see maybe a bit of luster on the obverse so going with XF40.
