jbuck: I'll never be able to figure out how you find all those old posts. I'm starting to think you have a magians crystal ball there.

That is the pure beauty of collecting, there is always something you need/want to make whatever series or collection better

I've been at this hobby for well over 60 years now and just can't get a 100% complete set of anything. For example I have 12 completed sets of Mercury dimes and each one is progressively in higher grades. Yet there is always that necessity to improve all of them.
Same with every set I have.

I've got a complete set of the State Quarters and have every PEI cent... All 1 of them! Although I would like to upgrade the PEI cent as mine was unfortunently cleaned a long time ago.

Not yet. Although I'm very close to completing the Statehood Quarter business strike set. Just need a Hawaii-P and a Washington-P.

Also, I finished filling my '59-'98 LMC business strike folder, but now I'm aiming to get all uncirculated condition on that set (for the extra challenge y'know), so it's gonna be a while.

I'm also working on a Wheat cent set and also a silver Roosevelt and Mercury dime set. However, it's gonna be a very long time before I complete any of those.

It's been pretty fun so far though

eh, don't let Nickelsearcher fool you. He has one of the prettiest commemorative sets you'll ever see... make that two of them, and I hear his War Nickel set is quite... striking.

As for me? I had a complete lincoln wheat set that I sold. I now have a complete Ike set in higher end grades- that I'm going to CAC-ify.

The rest of my collecting goals are sooo long term that I'm not likely to have an update any time soon.
