A friend tipped me off to local guy that's moving out of state and looking to downsize before the move. He knew he had some coins and told me to give him a call. I just got back from picking all of this up.

Decent-Pick-Up?

The box is all 60's and 70's S mint BU rolls. The tubes in front of the box are BU LMC rolls from the 50's & 60's. The large ziplock holds roughly 1000 circulated wheat cents. There is a roll of 56 and 57 D mint BU wheat cents. There are 60 Mercury dimes, 40 War Nickels, 12 BU 64 Kennedy halves, and an 1886 BU morgan. He also tossed in a bag of "culls" his words that has some silver quarters and dimes, Indian Head cents, V and Buffalo nickels and older Canadian. Plus all the coin tubes and hard 2x2 flips.

I pulled these two out already, but I have weeks of searching on my hands now

You scored if you are happy with it all. I can see where you certainly would be.

Its hard to put a price on having the chance to go through a large lot of coins. Some would say... priceless

I'd bet you'll do all right with the value of the coins -- but the fun of searching...yipee!

Have a good time and keep us posted.

I just got done sorting the cents out by date. For the wheats there is at least one coin for every year they were minted with full rolls of 1919, 1920, 1943, 1944, 1945, 1946, 1951, 1955, 1956, 1956 D BU, 1957, 1957 D BU, and 1958. The box of S mint BU LMC. It turns out that not all the rolls were S mint marks, but all the coins definitely are BU. 1959 S 1 roll, 1961 S 1 roll, 1966 5 rolls, 1968 S 11 rolls, 1968 P 5 rolls, 1970 S 1 roll, 1971 S 8 rolls, 1971 D 5 rolls, 1972 S 9 rolls, 1973 S 14 rolls, and 1973 D 1 roll.

Great Caesar's ghost! Full rolls of 1919 and 1920? Common dates, okay, but what sort of grades were they in?

I pulled out an almost full roll of culls that thankfully are still legal tender because they are worthless from a collecting stand point. They would be good for practicing clean techniques on though. The ones I put in tubes are from VF to BU. I'm going camping next week so I'll have some time to go through them better.
