Well to concentrate in on the mint mark, but close up pics still a bit too much out of focus to reasonably see the mint mark for a good opinion - either way.
Just as the TPGraders do, need a careful look at that area from several directions, with a 10X loupe, in this case, under direct sunlight.

Can you give us a sharper close-up?

Hopefully this picture will be a little better. Unfortunately I don't have the coin in hand.

The green Verdigris bothers me more then the coin itself, have you check the weight? Edit: Also a better close up clear shot to see the diamond shape inside loop of mint mark.I'm not sure if a tissue test work with that greenish color.

The coin appears genuine with a die 2 D. We need better photos to confirm.

I made a system where I take a straight line, pass it through two key points. An example is the line in the graphic going through the 2 top tips of the star above "ONE." Or else I make a line parallel to an already parallel line such as the top horizontal line which is parallel to the right side of the letter M's slanted part making up its "V" in the middle of its design.. I extend each line across the face of the coin. Since the dies for this year were made from a master hub, each line should hit the other side of the coin in the same place (told by where it hits design elements it encounters). And the intersection of the lines with others also should be the same. And to top it off the mark on the die (blue arrow) is also on yours. You may note the corresponding lines from the dime on the left to the one on the right are not lined up with one another from dime to dime. This is b/ the right dime pic is slightly larger than the one on the left. But that does not matter b/c the pathway of the lines is what is being tested. Yours looks good in the graphic I made (besides the hole in the D needing to be the proper shape, which it is).

I don't see anything glaring wrong with the mint mark - a truly sharp close up would be helpful.

Despite what the pictures show the coin is more of an even gray color rather. Having said that, it was stored in an older soft flip that I suspect has PVC. Definitely needs an acetone bath.

I haven't seen too many crusty Mercury dimes, and this surely is one of them.
